The College was founded in 1987, With the name Stella Maris College. It celebrated the Silver Jubilee as parallel college in 2012. In 2013 the college got its affiliation to M.G University, Kottayam as a self financing college by the Government of Kerala. In 2016 the College changed its status from a womens only college to a co-educational institution.
