The Master of Commerce (M.Com) programme at Carmelgiri College, Adimali, aims to equip learners with in-depth knowledge and skills in Business, Commerce, Industry, and Management. The broad objective of this programme is to develop the necessary analytical and managerial skills required to meet the challenges of both national and global industries. Students are guided to enhance their problem-solving abilities, research aptitude, and critical thinking through continuous learning, enabling them to pursue academic and professional careers. The M.Com programme is structured over four semesters, with each semester lasting 90 days. The programme is designed to provide comprehensive knowledge through both internal assessments and university-conducted end-semester examinations. Students are trained under the Faculty of Commerce, ensuring they meet the UGC Minimum Standards for Post Graduate Degrees. The course provides three elective streams: Finance and Taxation, Marketing and International Business, and Management and Information Technology. Students are required to select one stream and complete the associated courses in the third and fourth semesters. This structure offers specialized knowledge in key business areas, preparing students for the ever-evolving industry demands.
