Corporate social response and project writing (Social Work)

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Project Writing course is designed to equip students with a deep understanding of the role of corporate entities in fostering social development and community well-being. Students will learn about the principles of CSR, including its ethical, social, and environmental impacts. The course covers various CSR models, strategies for integrating social responsibility into business practices, and the importance of sustainable development in the corporate world. Emphasis will be placed on analyzing case studies of successful CSR initiatives and understanding their contribution to societal change. Through this, students will gain insight into the relationship between business practices and social welfare.

The second aspect of the course, Project Writing, focuses on developing the essential skills required for writing and managing social work projects. Students will learn how to design effective social programs, draft project proposals, conduct needs assessments, and evaluate the impact of social interventions. The course will also cover the technical aspects of project management, including budgeting, resource allocation, and reporting. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the knowledge and practical tools to write comprehensive project proposals for CSR initiatives or other social welfare programs, with the aim of creating measurable positive impacts on communities.
