The college library, established in 2013, is a key resource for students and teachers, aligned with the institution's pursuit of academic excellence. Initially housing 650 books, the collection has grown to 3,638 books, 3 journals, 5 newspapers, and various magazines. Located on the ground floor, the library features a dedicated reading section with easy access to newspapers, magazines, and journals, alongside free internet for research and learning. Library automation began in 2020 with KOHA ILMS software (Version 4), providing an online public access catalog (OPAC) for book searches. Additional facilities include a digital repository through D-Space. The WEBOPAC online search facility was introduced in 2025, and the library organizes books using the Dewey Decimal Classification Scheme.

Library Activities

The college library fosters a culture of reading and lifelong learning by organizing a wide range of events and activities that aim to instill a love for reading.

  • Book Talks: Since 2021, the library has hosted a monthly video presentation program where students from each department create and present videos about a selected book, covering details about the author and content.
  • ‘Prabodha’ Programs: All library activities are conducted under the name ‘Prabodha’. Events include reading competitions, book reviews, recitations, essay writing, short films, debates, notice board setting, pencil drawing, and film reviews. These programs are held in connection with significant days like Reading Day (June 19), National Library Day (August 12), and National Library Week (November 14-20).
  • Best Book Talk Award: An annual award is presented to the best Book Talk video presentation.
  • Library User Recognition: Every year, the library honors the 'Best User of Library Resources' award, recognizing one postgraduate student, one undergraduate student, and one faculty member based on their total book checkouts and library visits.
