Library Rules

  • Library Hours: The library is open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on all working days.
  • Loan Period: The loan period for each book is 14 days, after which a fine of Rs. 1/- per day will be charged.
  • Library Closure: The library will be closed on Sundays and all government holidays.
  • Reference Materials: Reference books, magazines, journals, and dailies cannot be taken out of the library and should be handled carefully.
  • Book Care: Writing, underlining, or tampering with books in any manner is strictly prohibited.
  • Book Return: Books must be returned before 2:30 PM.
  • Book Condition: Students must keep books neat and tidy; any damage will incur a heavy fine.
  • Footwear: Footwear should be left outside in the designated space before entering the library.
  • Personal Belongings: Personal belongings are not allowed inside the library.
  • ID Cards: Students should wear their ID cards in the proper position while entering the library.
  • Mobile Phones: The use of mobile phones is not allowed inside the library.
  • Silence: Perfect silence must be maintained within the library.
